Commission, Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to Lupet bespoke portrait commissions. Nothing in it limits mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

Private consultation and reservation

During the soft launch, commissions begin through WhatsApp or email and online payment is disabled. The Commission Reservation Deposit is US$150 and, when payment is later enabled and accepted, is credited in full toward the final commission quote. Materials, scope, timing, shipping and any applicable charges are confirmed before payment is requested.

Bespoke commission process

  1. Reserve Your Commission. Begin with a US$150 commission deposit, fully credited toward your final bespoke quote.
  2. Private Consultation & Quote. We continue the conversation via WhatsApp, review your pet’s photographs, and confirm the commission requirements, materials and specifications. Your final bespoke quote is confirmed before the cumulative 50% payment milestone.
  3. Confirm Quote & 50% Payment. Your US$150 deposit is credited in full. After accepting the final quote, pay the amount needed for cumulative cleared payment to reach 50% of the final commission quote.
  4. Design & Refine. Your initial design is typically prepared within approximately 5 business days after acceptance of the final quote, confirmation of the required information and suitable photographs, and clearance of the cumulative 50% payment. We refine the design with you within the agreed commission scope until you are happy with the final result.
  5. Final Approval & Balance. After you approve the final artwork, the remaining 50% of the final commission quote must be paid and cleared in full before production begins.
  6. Production. Production typically takes approximately 15–30 business days after final design approval and full payment.
  7. Quality Control & Delivery. Once completed, the piece undergoes final quality inspection before shipping. Shipping method, cost and estimated delivery are confirmed according to the destination and final commission details.

Design scope and revisions

Reasonable refinements within the agreed commission scope may cover likeness, expression, outline, proportion, composition, small engraving corrections and minor design details. A different pet, additional pets, a different jewelry type, a replacement direction, new materials or techniques, a substantially different source photo, or structural changes after approval may require a revised quote, fee, timeline and renewed approval.

Materials, pricing and production time

Each commission is individually specified. Depending on the design, Lupet works with precious materials including K gold, diamonds and colored gemstones. Final materials, specifications and pricing are confirmed during your private consultation.

Final pricing is prepared individually in USD and may vary according to materials, gemstones, dimensions, pet count, complexity and personalization.

Production typically takes approximately 15–30 business days after your final design has been approved and full payment has been received. Shipping time is additional and varies by destination.

Cancellation stages

  • Before human review or consultation begins, a paid reservation deposit may be refundable.
  • After photo review, consultation, requirements analysis, recommendations or quote preparation begins, the reservation deposit is generally non-refundable.
  • After bespoke design begins, amounts attributable to services and work already performed are generally non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
  • After final artwork approval, full cleared payment and production start, personalized work is generally not cancellable, returnable, refundable or exchangeable for change of mind, to the extent permitted by law.

Production issues

If Lupet sends the wrong item, makes an engraving, material, size or specification error against the approved order, produces a clear manufacturing or structural defect, or materially departs from the approved artwork, Lupet will assess an appropriate repair, remake, replacement or refund.
