Private customer reference photos are stored outside the public media library, served only through permission-checked endpoints, and excluded from public caches and search indexing.

Retention

For completed commissions, original pet photos, private uploads and non-required working images are scheduled for deletion or anonymization 90 days after completion. For unconverted or abandoned commissions, the maximum is 90 days after last meaningful activity. Active disputes, support cases and legal holds can pause deletion.

Portfolio and marketing consent

Orders are private by default. Purchase never grants automatic permission to use a pet photo, portrait, finished piece or client story on the website, in a portfolio, on social media or in advertising. Permission is collected separately, records its selected channels and is not preselected.
